Made this cake for birthday of the husband of our friend. They were wonderous! Thanks for posting! I used the same cake mix....... and was wondering if I should knock the eggs and 1/2 cup of oil down to 3 and 1/2? It was a real hit. Thanks for posting this recipe!
I found this recipe on pinterest.com and it is currently one of my favs. I made this cake for the first time last week for our family member's birthday. I made it in a very lightly greased 10" springform pan. I used the recipe as is, but I knew the cake would fail. I was thinking it was gonna be runny inside of the cake. After I put the cake in the oven, I checked it after 30 minutes, and it was still gooshy inside. During the 30 minutes, I then heated the oven to 375 degrees, then put it back in, and I checked it after another 30 minutes, and it was done. It was a moist cake! And it was so moist, you stuck a knife into the middle, and that side was the moistest. I was sad to see that side because it was the one I stuck the knife into. I followed this recipe exactly. It doesn't say a thing in the manual about greasing the pan. If you grease it, I'm sorry I told you to, because that's a must-do. Otherwise, my only other suggestion is to don't grease it. d2c66b5586
